The staff were awesome and helped me put together a to go order for a group. The location has difficult parking but is otherwise in a really neat area of the city that is quite walkable. They refilled my coffee even though my order was to-go. The food was delicious. We loved the vegan raspberry French toast. I would definitely recommend visiting Lucy’s but arrive early and be prepared to wait - this place is popular!

If you are in the mood for vegan/vegetarian this little cafe is the place to go to. Interesting selection of dishes, friendly staff and outdoor patio.

Overall, the food was very delicious, and Lucy’s Cafe has many options! However, the only issue that I had with Lucy’s cafe was that their menu indicates certain items are gluten free/can be made gluten free, but that is not the case. The waitress revealed to me that most of their meat alternatives actually contain gluten. For all of my gluten free friendly and celiac friends, beware! Also, my dish had soy sauce in it and I HOPE that it was gluten free.

Amazing Mexican scrambler. Tons of vegan options. Lucy and Martin are husband wife couple and the service was great! Food was delicious. You know how you always want your food to look like the pictures? It actually does here! Yummm! Vegan banana walnut pancakes were amazing too!

Great little brunch place! Loved the food (lots of tasty vegetarian options). Had the eggs in a basket (eggs are inside the bread) which tasted great and wasn’t too much ;)

This place was sooooo delicious. Cute small place. I'm vegetarian but my friend isn't. We both really enjoyed our fresh breakfast. Nice portions too. I'll definitely be returning.

Love the food here!! The pesto and sun-dried tomato scramble is delicious! So flavorful! I love all the vegetarian and vegan options. I also had a taste of the Belgian waffle and it was as equally amazing! Very fresh! Wait staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Even better as the new Lucy's, they have vegan cheese now too. I had the grilled "chicken" wrap and it was delicious. Like before staff is really friendly. Yes would recommend.

Been here twice and I can't say the food is anything more than decent. Their menu is spectacular, it's got just about everything you could ever want from brunch, but the actual food is a bit underwhelming. Service is good though, and it's a nice spot.

Place is OK. I ordered one of the burgers but I couldn't really tell you what it was as it wasn't memorable. The food was tasty though. The Chipotle Chicken Bowl was great yet I wished they gave you more. Don't think I would come back though, the pricing was a little high for the food we ate. The service was very nice though.

I had visited this place in a rather somber state of mind, but the food was a comfort to my then fragile heart. It is rare for me to be so taken, but this cafe can capture your heart before entering. The way the sun hits inside, it beckons for you to come in.

Food is good. But not worth the wait. We waited over an hour to get out food and we didn't even get everything we ordered. People walked out after ordering. Our waitress was amazing though. Can't stress that enough.

Best vegan French toast I ever had. I will definitely be returning so I can try all of the other delicious items on the menu. Inside seating is nice and comfortable. Outside seating is available as well. Coffee was strong and tasty.

Had the Vegan Blackened Chicken Wrap and it was absolutely delicious. Our server was extremely kind and also knew the menu like the back of his hand - which was very much appreciated as he was able help us make sure our food was 100% vegan. The restaurant was bright and welcoming; a very nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal.Can’t wait until I can visit again. Will probably get the same wrap as it really made an impact on me!

Great service, decent atmosphere. Food was bomb. Got the Siracha scramble and the French toast which the waiter said they were known for. Wasn’t let down. Fresh grapefruit and orange juice

We were so extremely pleasantly surprised by how much we loved Lucy's! Neither my boyfriend or I are Vegetarians or Vegans but we loved everything we ordered. We will certainly be back!

The granola was great, not too sweet! My friends had french toast here which I tried and was also fantastic.

My family and I were in town from Denver and were looking for a vegan/veggie friendly breakfast spot. Lucy's Cafe did not disappoint!! The service was amazing and the food was just as awesome! Cute and cozy environment! Definitely will be back next time I'm in the area.

I had the vegan skillet. Tofu instead of eggs, very tasty. I will be going back again. Enjoyed the coffee very much as well and the staff was friendly.

I love the decor in this restaurant and the idea behind the menu! Being vegan we had less options of course but I was surprised by how dissatisfied I was with the breakfast enchiladas.. I just felt it could have had more to it. The cheese also hadn't melted and the tofu scramble meant to be inside looked more like cubed tofu in a sauce. The inside had literally only tofu chorizo and cubed tofu. I may come again to try something different. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pretty cozy space but not close enough to touch elbows. We paid $33 for two meals and my husband's was smaller than mine.

Good food. Nice selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free foods. Big fan of the curry omelette. My daughter enjoyed her skillet.

Amazing food. Friendly staff. Large menu and even has a separate vegan menu. I had the vegan French toast which was phenomenal. The outdoor seating was perfect for the summer weather.

Even better than when it was Victory’s Banner! I can still get the VB chai and fabulous French toast with peach butter, but they expanded the menu so vegan options are more worthwhile. Nice couple running the place. The guru decor is gone, more of friendly neighborhood cafe style now, named for the chef Lucy. That lady knows how to cook!Great spot for vegetarian food and a nice setting to have a solo meal or catch up with a friend.

Everything I have ever ordered here is fantastic...but I sure have a soft spot for the Porky Fries!!!! The cheese grating on top makes them sublime!

Every time I come here I feel so welcomed. The staff is super hard working and so sweet through all the rushes.They offer soooo many of their dishes as vegan and that is something I value so much.I recommend Lucy's Cafe to EVERYBODY. Vegan or not. It's amazing!!

Lucy's Southwest Skillet is amazing. I have eating restrictions and always get it vegan and gluten free and it's delicious! Highly recommend Lucy's.

I drive 50 plus min at least once a week to go to Lucy’s Cafe. Their breakfast is amazing. Recently rated best Pancakes/French toast in chicago. Should have been in the world 🌎 Hands down a must go for their vegan 🌱 options.

Very cute! Vegetarian! I like that they have a tea selection but wish they had better caffeine options. Service was very nice. Went on a Friday afternoon and it was really chill.

Liked the customer service and the colour of the place and art on the walls but food took almost 30mins to come out and my skillet dish was a smaller amount then what I expected seeing it was a bit pricey... Great for an brunch snack quick stop shop

I should’ve reviewed this place long ago. Me and my other half eat here at least once a week. The food is delicious. The service is always on point and the owners are great! I took a group a friends here that were visiting me for the weekend they loved it too. Great vegan and vegetarian options. I always order the skillet with extra chipotle mayo and a vegan chai 🤤. The French toast is also amazing.

Great gluten free pancakes and I would recommend the broccoli cheddar omelette. Almond tea is delicious as well!

Not a vegan however that blackened vegan chicken wrap is off the chain, Plus the waitresses freaking gorgeous

Friendly service. Pancakes looked fluffier in the photos. Mine were flat. I'd prefer fluffier and whipped butter.Interesting selection of caffeine free teas.

I agree, the staff here always have smiles on even in the heaviest of brunch rushes. The chai is out of this world delicious, slightly spicy and pleasantly rich. As a gluten-sensitive vegetarian this is an incredible spot for me, there is a special menu for my delicate nature and I still have difficulty choosing from the array of food. My meat eating breakfast-mates have never left hungry or unsatisfied. The specials are always different week to week, I know this because I visited four Sundays in a row. When the weather is fine, the outdoor space is packed and the neighborhood doggies always want pets.
